Auction Event and On-line Auction Information
The 2012 auction event “Soiree Parisinne” is scheduled for Saturday, February 4th at the Sofitel Hotel.
Happy Winter Everyone! It’s cold and snowing and you decided to stay in the house all day? The only trouble, what to do?
Log onto the Lincoln Park Cooperative Nursery School Online Auction! The LPCNS online auction opens Friday, January 20th at 8 am, just a couple of hours after the Winter Storm Watch goes into effect! It’s the perfect solution for your cabin fever!

To make your perusal of the fabulous auction items easier, we have grouped them into categories. Click View Items on the left hand side of the auction page, and the categories will appear below. To keep the kids busy through the deep freeze check out Kids Classes. To get yourselves out of the house check out Dining and Entertainment and Chicago Theater. Oh, and don’t forget to check Child Care where you can bid on 24 hours of free babysitting provided by Chicago Nannies!
Once you have found the item you must have simply hit the Click Here to Bid button. You will be directed to the Log in to Your Online Bidder Account page. If you already have a ReadySetAuction account (you do if you bid on items last year), simply fill in your User Name and Password and click the Login button. So, click, login and WIN!
Under categories, you will also find a Category for Live and Silent auction items. You can’t bid on these now……but, we wanted to show you the terrific things that we will have available on February 4th at the Sofitel! Oh, and if your friends, parents or colleagues want some of those items….bid for them on the 4th!
Here’s how you create your LPCNS Online Auction Account:
Go to the LPCNS Online Auction web page: In the top right corner of the LPCNS Auction website, click on My Account. A login page will appear, underneath the sign in box you will click on Create My Account. Fill in the registration information on the Create Your Account page. Be sure to remember the user name your choose. This user name cannot be changed unless you set up a new account with a different email. It is the user name you will use from this point forward whenever you log in to the LPCNS online auction. Click the Register button. ReadySet Auction (the LPCNS auction software provider) will send you an email containing your temporary password. Write the temporary password down, or copy it to your clipboard.
Click the link in the email, and, to confirm your user name and password, enter your user name into the User Name field and paste or type your temporary password into the Password field. Click the Login button. Choose your own personal password. This is the password you will use from this point forward whenever you log in to the LPCNS online auction. The temporary password you received earlier will no longer work. Click the Set Password & Login button.
Here’s how to retrieve your previous LPCNS online auction username and password:
Go the the LPCNS online auction website at http://auctions.readysetauction.com/lpcns/
In the top right corner click on My Account. Skip entering anything in the text boxes and click on the password assistance link.
Enter the email address that the system has on record for you (the email with which you created your original account).
An email (from ReadySetAuction) will be sent to you with your username and a link to reset your password.
If all of this fails….use a different e-mail, and set up a new account!

Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is a strategic fundraiser that eliminates minor fundraisers (i.e. wraps in snacks, coffee sales and book fair) throughout the year. Parents recieve a pledge card in the Fall with a reccommended donation amount per child. The money from the Annual Fund, along with the Auction, contribute with tuition to the operating budget of the school. Click here to fulfill your pledge through Paypal.
