School Governance
Board of Directors
The Board is made up of the elected officers, the chairs of standing committees, the financial aid chair and the assisting coordinators. The Board meets once each month. All parents are welcome to attend these meetings. Minutes of the Board meetings are available at the school office for any members who wish to see them. In addition, the President communicates periodically with the membership on Board business and other pertinent matters. The elected officers of the school are: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary and Corresponding Secretary. The President appoints committee chairs.
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is composed of eleven members: six trustees elected from past LPCNS members, the Director, the President, the Treasurer, the Recording Secretary and the Building Chairperson. A Trustee may not also serve on the Board of Directors. There are two regular meetings annually, one in the fall and one in the spring. The Board of Trustees establishes and administers a Trustee fund. This fund is held in reserve for emergency and major expenses of the building or other necessary expenditures as determined by the Trustees.
